I spent over 20 years in the news business, cranking out thousands of words during any given week. I know how to shape a narrative, highlight your strengths, minimize your weaknesses, and tell stories that matter to your audience.

How it works

1. Consultation & Info-gathering

When you get in touch, we will go over your pain points, goals, and any ideas you might already have in mind. (No worries if you don’t!) After we chat, I will get back to you with an emailed proposal that outlines a timeline and price.

2. First Draft

Once you agree and contracts are signed, I will get to work. The timeline depends on the scope of the project, but expect a 2- to 3-week turnaround.

3. Revisions

I want you to be happy, so I include up to two rounds of revisions in the original quote. Additional revisions are extra, depending on the scope of the project.

4. Final Product

I will deliver your meticulously researched, error-free, final copy by the agreed upon deadline. As a former TV news writer, missing a deadline is never an option. (Barring, of course, a death in my family, a grave illness, or act of God.)

I do not use AI, EVER. Honestly, I’ve found AI to be generic at best and complete trash at worst. You are selling to real  humans who have real dreams and desires. You owe them copy that speaks to them personally.

  • Photos: I will source, edit and prepare high-quality stock photos.

Pricing

“How much will it cost?” Naturally, that’s an important question, if not the most important. I totally get it. The answer is, “it depends.”

When putting together a quote, I will take into consideration the length of the project, how soon you want it, how much research is needed, and any other factors that may be involved.

Projects start at .75 a word. (That’s just a jumping-off point, since I don’t price by the word.)
